  • Participants must be aged 6+ to participate in this activity

  • Minors aged 6 and above need to book the same meal as adults when entering the store

  • Please dress appropriately and avoid overly casual clothing (such as slippers, sandals, vests, shorts, suspenders, miniskirts, etc.). Please note that French and Western restaurants have extremely strict dress codes. Male guests must wear a shirt or jacket with a collar on the upper body and long pants (jeans are not allowed) and socks on the lower body.

  • Please be punctual to the store. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be cancelled by the store and any fees paid by the guest will not be refunded. If you are more than 15 minutes early, the store may refuse to allow the guest to enter the store in advance.

  • If the guest fails to provide the reservation information truthfully (including but not limited to the discrepancy between the number of people in the reservation and the actual number of people, failure to provide the number and age of minors), fails to comply with Japanese dining etiquette (including but not limited to making loud noises, fighting, smoking, drinking, live streaming or other activities that may affect others' dining in the restaurant), all losses and consequences caused by the guest shall be borne by the guest himself

Our Favourites

The owner and chef will teach you how to make dashi, the foundation of "umami" in Japanese cuisine, and try several dashi made from different ingredients to taste the differences in "umami". During the meal, an authentic Japanese meal set meal prepared by the chef using homemade dashi will be provided.

  • The entire tour lasts 3 hours (1 hour for the experience, 2 hours for the meal)
  • Translation: Chinese or English (only during the experience time)
  • You can ask the staff to take photos of the experience with your phone or other device

【Experience Content】

  • Explanation of "umami" in Japanese cuisine (the umami that is a characteristic of Japanese cuisine, the types of dashi)
  • Explanation of dashi ingredients (kombu, bonito, dried shiitake mushrooms, sea bream bones, shellfish, etc.) You can experience touching the full-size kombu and shaving bonito.
  • Experience making soup stock (watch the chef actually make basic "kelp and bonito soup stock" and taste it. In addition, you will learn how to make soup stock using ingredients prepared on the day (dried shiitake mushrooms, sea bream bones, shellfish, etc.), and taste these prepared soup stocks in advance to experience the difference in umami.
