Chichen Itza
These Mayan ruins were once an important ceremonial center for the ancient Mayan culture and are now a “must do” tour when visiting the Yucatan Peninsula. An expert guide will lead you on a journey through the main structures of Chichen Itza like the Pyramid of Kukulkan, the Ball Court and the Temple of a Thousand Columns. The main building is the Kukulkan Castle, known as The Pyramid. It is an icon of the astronomical, architectural, mathematical and engineering knowledge and, together with the platforms, they tell us about the past, with their many sculptures and representations of feathered serpents and Chaac masks, the majestic god of rain that lives in the sacred cenote. Other places like the monumental Ball Game, The Astronomical Observatory, also known as The Snail and the area of The Church are worth admiring, thanks to their masks from the Mayan classic period. Cenote Saamal
Cenotes are one of the most beautiful and unique natural wonders of the Yucatan. Natural limestone sinkholes full of crystalline water, they are the perfect place to enjoy a swim in sacred waters and admire the spectacular rock formations and lush jungle flora. Saamal is one of the most famous cenotes in Yucatan for its breathtaking beauty.
Zona Arqueologica de Coba
The Mayan ruins of Coba are still mostly hidden beneath the jungle foliage, come discover the tallest pyramid in the region and explore the jungle paths with ancient stone structures peeking through.
