It takes around 1.5 hours driving from Beijing downtown hotel to Mutianyu Great Wall. Upon arrival, walk up or take cable car up at your own expense to the Great Wall, hike the best part of the wall from Watchtower No. 14 east up to Watchtower 23, appreciate beacon towers lying at some advantageous strategic forts, view charming natural scenery at the foot of the wall. After around 2 hours hiking, have a relaxing driving back to downtown and drop off at your hotel to conclude the trip.
