The cutting and carving of a calabash bowl from the fruit is sure to be an incredibly fun and creative activity that yields a unique souvenir. Armed with a hacksaw (to cut), a spoon (to scoop out), and a dremel or a screw (to design or carve) anything your imagination desires, you embark on a journey of transforming a simple fruit into a functional masterpiece. After this unique experience with local Rastafari couple "Mel and Ekie", you leave with a truly exceptional souvenir – a whimsical and functional bowl (or two) with a story to tell. Whether as a reminder of a memorable trip or a cherished home decor piece, your calabash bowl is sure to be a conversation starter, sparking curiosity and admiration for your hands-on experience, creativity, and local craftsmanship.
