Following dinner, immerse yourself in the Mozart-Strauss concert held in the historic state rooms of the fortress, featuring performances by the Salzburger Mozart Ensemble and Mozart Chamber Orchestra Salzburg (May to October, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)

How to get there
By car: Drive and park at the Old Town car park, "Altstadtgarage" at Hildmannplatz 1, Entry (Einfahrt) B. Follow the signs in the garage for "FESTUNG/DOM." From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the fortress. After leaving the garage, cross the Toscaninihof and turn right towards the DOM (Big Cathedral). You will see the fortress on the right side of the mountain, Monchsberg. Cross the Kapitelplatz, which leads into the Festungsgasse
You can get your parking ticket validated at the evening box office at the entrance to the concert hall, allowing you to park at a reduced rate
