By car: Drive and park at the Old Town car park, "Altstadtgarage" at Hildmannplatz 1, Entry (Einfahrt) B. Follow the signs in the garage for "FESTUNG/DOM." From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the fortress. After leaving the garage, cross the Toscaninihof and turn right towards the DOM (Big Cathedral). You will see the fortress on the right side of the mountain, Monchsberg. Cross the Kapitelplatz, which leads into the Festungsgasse
