Expected time of arrival: 2:30 PM (Wat Kaew Temple) Wat Kaew Korawaram Temple is one of the biggest and most prestigious Buddhist temples in the Krabi. Perched on top of a hill, Wat Kaew Korawaram overlooks the hustle and bustle of the centre of Krabi.The path to the main building is lined with magnificent statues of Nāga, the fascinating Hindu deity with the body of a serpent, leading to a 2,500m2 terrace. Wat Kaew Korawaram temple dates back to 1887, when 200 families came to live at Baan Pak Nam (when Krabi had not yet been named) and a community of monks sprang up and prospered.
