Ermita De San Juan De Gaztelugatxe

Enjoy a nice waliking in San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is a spectacular islet located on the coast of Bizkaia, which can be accessed via a bridge and a steep staircase of 231 steps. This small island is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus, and at the top, there is a hermitage. During the visit, we will enjoy stunning views of the Bay of Biscay and the Basque coastline. The site is known for its natural beauty and its great historical and cultural value. Additionally, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe gained international fame after being used as a filming location in the series "Game of Thrones," where it represented "Dragonstone." It’s a unique experience for both nature lovers and those interested in history and culture, and the walk through the area offers a perfect blend of landscape, history, and legend.

Bermeo

We will visit the charming town of Bermeo and have free time for lunch. Bermeo is a charming coastal town, known for its rich maritime heritage, picturesque streets, and beautiful surroundings. It is a traditional fishing village that retains much of its historic character, with colorful buildings lining the streets and a lively harbor filled with boats.

Casa de Juntas

The Casa de Juntas in Gernika, is a historic and political symbol of the Basque Country. It is where the General Assemblies of Bizkaia were traditionally held. The building is known for its traditional architecture and the Tree of Gernika, a symbol of Basque freedom and historical rights. Visitors can explore the museum, which tells the story of the Casa de Juntas, and visit the hall where the assemblies took place. It is a key site to understand the history and identity of the Basque Country.
