Traditional Mengo Fishing & fish picnic Hvar
On our tour, you can swim and snorkel even inside a fishing net. Masks, snorkels, and flippers are available. You will sail around the island of Hvar and stay in coves that are only accessible by boat On the boat, snorkels, masks, and flippers will be provided, along with an underwater camera for use. Drinks (water, soft drinks, wine) are included. The entire experience will last 7 hours, depending on the day's fishing location. This tour is suitable for anyone who wants to experience the Dalmatian traditional way of life: fishing and eat grilled fish: for children and adults.

What's included in Traditional Mengo Fishing & fish picnic Hvar
(Subject to Option Inclusions)We take you to the fishermen's fleet location by fishermen's speedboat, where you will observe fishermen working in the traditional way. This method of fishing is now only practiced by a few Adriatic fishermen. It is a century-old tradition of the Radonic family, passed down from father to son through the generations. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the entire fishing process, swim in crystal-clear bays, and even participate in the fishing if desired. With us, you will be able to swim and snorkel at depths of 3-8 meters among the fishes. Fabijan, our experienced skipper and fisherman, will accompany you in the sea, ensuring a smooth experience. You will learn about local fish species such as dentex, salps, sea breams, and groupers. After the fishing process we will be going to a bay restorant where you will get to try the fish that was caught. The fish will be grilled for you and then you will be able to enjoy a picnic by the sea.
