Hachiko

An example of loyalty and friendship: the statue celebrates the dog Hachiko, who, after the death of his owner, continued to wait for his arrival every day, returning from work.

Gotokuji Temple

A Buddhist temple located in Setagaya. It is said to be the place of origin of Maneki Neko (cat statues that attract luck and wealth). The temple in every area is adorned with hundreds of these statues of various sizes.

Setagaya Hachimangu

A very ancient origins shrine. It was built to worship and honor Hachiman Okami, the deity of war and archery.
