Fonseca Port Wine Cellars
From the legendary 1840, Fonseca's first Vintage Port release, to the superb declared vintages of the last decade, the house has produced a succession of highly acclaimed wines even in the most adverse moments of history. The Fonseca Experience includes a self-guided tour to the cellars, where visitors can learn about the history behind this renowned Port house, in addition to a commented tasting of the famous Fonseca Bin nº 27 in the historic tasting room. Being family-friendly, it also offers a reduced ticket price for children, which includes cookies and grape juice from the Douro Valley, served in a Port wine glass allowing younger guests to toast with their parents.

The Fonseca Experience is open daily from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm and 01:30pm to 06:00 pm (last entrance). The visit is self-guided, and you can present your ticket anytime, on the selected date, during opening hours.
