Mombasa Memorial Cathedral is an Anglican church built during the British colonial era. It is located on the junction of Nkruma and Cathedral streets, a short distance from Fort Jesus. The 3.1-acre estate was purchased in 1898 for the cathedral. It's a beautiful white building.

Shree Parsha Vallabh Jain Temple in Old Town Mombasa was built in 1963 and was one of the first temples built by a Jain community outside India. It is the oldest Jain temple in Africa.
