If you miss your designated train, please consult on-site staff who will assist in exchanging your ticket for a non-reserved seat ticket. You can sit in an empty seat on the non-reserved car or stand in the connecting chamber between cars

  • This product is exclusively for foreigners (non-Taiwanese citizens). If you attempt to use a Taiwanese passport to redeem the ticket and are unable to do so, you are responsible, and no refunds will be issued. 
  • Eligibility: This offer is only applicable to travelers who are visa-exempt, hold a tourist visa, or are on a short-term stay of less than 180 days. High-speed rail has the right to refuse redemption if eligibility requirements are not met. This offer does not apply to those entering with a Republic of China residence permit or a Republic of China passport.
  • Please note the travelers' info provided when booking must match your identification documents upon arrival in Taiwan, and at least one certificate of entry is required (visa-exempt entry, tourist visa, or entry permit)
  • Free admission for children below 6 years old, and they must not occupy a seat
