So are you ready to SEEGhana?
We will start at W.E.B. DuBois, a memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture is a memorial place. It was named after William Edward Burghardt Du Bois who was an African-American civil rights activist and later became a citizen of Ghana in the 1960s. He is often known as the ‘Father of Pan-Africanism’.
Our next stop is the Black Star Square which is one of the biggest squares in the world which was designed for huge events, military marches and commercial events such as concerts and fashion shows, which take place throughout the year.
This centre is home to tens of markets for handmade Ghanian products ranging from clothes to bags to accessories, art works and wooden sculptures. Travelers can make purchase of items that catches their eye. We will spend some time browsing here before getting a snack and then heading to our next destination.
