Sanguinho hike, Salto do Prego Waterfall and Furnas hotsprings
One of the great ways to discover the most eastern side of the island with a beautiful hike in the middle of a valley, connecting to the sea with amazing vegetation, rock formation, an abandoned village and the highlight - Salto do Prego waterfall!
In the end of the hike we will go to Furnas, which is an amazing village inside of a volcano full of volcanic activity and it is also the home of the most famous relaxing hotsprings of the island, where you can enjoy its thermal properties.
This hike takes around 2 hours to complete and it is 4.5 km (2.8miles) long, with medium difficulty level.

(Subject to Option Inclusions)In this tour, we will go along the north coast of the island until we reach Povoação, where you will have the chance to stop in some beautiful viewpoints and also have a short break in the village itself, which was the first place to be populated in São Miguel island. The trail starts and finishes in Faial da Terra parish and after finishing it we will return through the south coast of the island.
