Taj Mahal
This marble masterpiece is a creation of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan who constructed this mausoleum in remembrance of his dear wife, Arjumand Bano Begum also popular as Mumtaz Mahal. She died in 1630 A.D and it was her last wish that a memorial should be built in her memory that was simply matchless and which the world had not seen earlier.
Agra Fort
After visiting this symbol of true love you will be taken to visit Agra Fort which is also a UNESCO World Heritage. This fort is also popular as Lal Qila or Red Fort in Agra. It is nearly 2.5 km from the monument, the TajMahal. To be more clear the fort can be more precisely expressed as a walled splendid city
