A tour of Trapani salt pans is a unique and evocative experience, immersed in a landscape between sea and land, characterized by vast bodies of water, windmills, and mountains of white salt. guided tour of the Salt Museum, which is housed in a restored old mill. Here the traditional salt extraction process, handed down for centuries, is explained, using the force of the wind to spin the blades of the mills and pump water between the different tanks. the tour continues with a walk through the salt basins. In spring and summer, the salt pans are covered with thin layers of water that reflect the sky creating spectacular effects, while in autumn you can see the workers at work during the salt harvesting phase, with the large salt pyramids shining under the Sicilian alone. During the tour, you can spot a wide variety of birds, including pink flamingos.
