You will be picked up at your hotel to take you downtown to Parque de los Periodistas where you will be introduced to the city and learn about the strong indigenous past that gave birth to Bogotá’s foundations.
Barrio La Candelaria
Walking through La Candelaria you will learn about the colonial process, independence and the contemporary revival of indigenous traditions. You will visit a very special place for ancestral drinks at the heart of La Candelaria where you will be able to try Chicha, Zhuke, Guarapo and Chirrinchi as you get tips for tasting, and facts relating to ancient rituals and traditions from Colombia’s countryside.
