As a PADI Eco Center, we want to encourage animal lovers away from swimming with dolphins in captivity by joining a regulated tour to see them in their natural environment. This would be a great family outing! We regularly see them from the surface and, for the more adventurous, we can often see them while snorkeling in the open ocean.
Did you know? You will spend a similar amount of money at a dolphinarium (after purchasing photos) as you will on this tour! We will likely encounter lots of other amazing animals in this nature hot spot of Baja Sur.
You might get the jackpot and see Orca, whales, mobulas, as well as the dolphins! Not to mention we take you snorkeling on some secluded reefs and a small sea lion colony.

What's included in Private Wild Dolphin Encounter Day Trip
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Once we have connected you with our van we will begin a 2-2.5 hour journey to the captivating fishing village of La Ventana where wild dolphins swim in superpods at nearby Cerralvo Island. We will bring a breakfast pack for the journey and there will be a bathroom break along the way. Your day guide will connect with the captain, who is a seasoned expert and knows where to search for and view dolphins. The boat is rustic (no bathrooms) but has shade and is kitted out with all regulation equipment. We will spend 6 hours on the 28ft boat immersed in nature, looking for WHATEVER wildlife we encounter. The most common wildlife we spot from April - October is dolphins. We will also take snorkel equipment as there are regular stops for a guided swim with whatever wildlife the crew deems safe and respectful to swim with! As well as dolphins, you may also see Orca, mobula ray fevers, whale species (such as Bryde, blue, humpback or Sperm), sea lions and billfish. Lunch is a boat picnic at a secluded beach where you can disembark and enjoy the surroundings and go for a reef snorkel swim if you like.

Additional Information
We will pick you up from any hotel from Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos. If you are on the San Jose del Cabo side, we can offer you an Uber service to bring you to the dive center for the departure time in the morning.
