The beautiful city of Potsdam is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO because of its harmonious landscape with parks and palaces.
This tour takes you back in time and to all the highlights of the old city center of Potsdam including the park of Sanssouci Palace. You will see the old market with the restored City Palace, the picturesque Dutch quarter and the Brandenburg Gate, the older sister of the famous gate in Berlin.
After a relaxing stroll through the city, we will reach the park of Sanssouci Palace with its water fountains, the golden Chinese Tea House and the tomb of Prussia's legendary king, Frederic the Great.
The tour may either end at the palace where our guide will be helpful to obtain tickets for an inside visit (Mondays closed) or you head back to the railway station together with your guide.

The famous Brandenburg Gate is Berlin. But also Potsdam has a smaller one which used to be a gate as part of the historic city wall.
The Dutch Quarter is the impressing historical city center of Potsdam. It looks like you would visit a small old town in the Netherlands.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
The MEETING POINT is at "Potsdam Hauptbahnhof - at the exit Babelsberger Strasse". Please ask at your hotel how to get to the main railway station of the city of Potsdam using the city train from Berlin. The ride takes about one hour. At the railway station please go to the exit called "Babelsberger Strasse". The guide is waiting there with a sign with your name written on it.
