Acropolis
The first stop is at the Acropolis, to see the architectural monuments of the Golden Age of Athens, including the Parthenon, Erectheion the temple of Athena Nike and the magnificent views of the city all the way to Aegean sea. The Acropolis is located on a flattish-topped rock that rises 150 m (490 ft) above sea level in the city of Athens, with a surface area of about 3 hectares. Hadrian's Arch
The triumphal arch lies on an ancient street that led from the old city of Athens to the new, Roman section, built by Hadrian. It was constructed by the Athenians in A.D. 131, in honor of their benefactor emperor.
Temple of Olympian Zeus
The Temple of Olympian Zeus Naós tou Olympíou Diós, also known as the Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus, is a former colossal temple at the center of the Greek capital Athens. It was dedicated to "Olympian" Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC. The columns would stand 17 m (55 ft 9 in) high and 2 m (6 ft 7 in) in diameter.
