During this tour you will walk through Piazza del Duomo and see Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise. You will stop in front of Giotto's Bell Tower and admire its sculpture. Brunelleschi's Dome is the perfect background for your pictures.
In Piazza della Signoria you will see the tower where Cosimo the Elder was held prisoner. You will see the Fountain of Neptune and the Loggia de' Lanzi with its great collection of statues. If you wish, you can even see the self-portrait of Benvenuto Cellini at the back of his famous Perseus.
We cross Ponte Vecchio where you can see an amazing view of the Arno, and the tour finishes in front of the Pitti Palace - the residence of the Grand-ducal family. Alternatively, the tour can finish at Santa Croce square.

Gallerie Degli Uffizi
This is an exterior visit of the famous art gallery built by Vasari for the Grand Duke to serve as administrative offices.
Piazza della Repubblica
This square is on what used to be the city's old market. It is in the centre of the ancient fortified Roman colony.
Ponte Vecchio
This is the oldest bridge in Florence, lined on both sides by jewellers' shops and spanned by the Vasari corridor, connecting the Uffizi with Palazzo Pitti.
