We will drive through the gravel roads and between the mountains of Santa Cruz and Nicoya Towns to reach these captivating woods. We will unveil the rivers and tropical dry forests of the most important protected area of the region. We walk through the short trails of the Park or hike upstream a river to reach the Brazil Waterfall.
What to bring: Hiking Shoes that you can wet or Strap Sandals (Chaco´s, Teva´s, Keen´s, etc) Light cloths and swimwear Towel Reusable bottle of water Mosquito Repellent Rain Gear from May until November
Important details Brazil Waterfall might be short of water or dry between late December and April, but the Water Holes stay all year long to cool to enjoy Breakfast Stop is not included but can be set if Pick-up is coordinated 45 minutes earlier and stop at a local Restaurant on the way ($6-$10pp)

We will cross a small river to arrive to park ranger station (knee level) and start the naturalist experience.
Choose either to walk 3/4 mile loop trail (with a steep section) to discover the local flora biodiversity, and tropical hardwoods to visit water holes to cool off. OR hike upstream 1/2 mile to Brazil waterfall
