Founded by 9 x South African Surfing Champion Roxy Davis, we are renowned not only for the quality of our equipment and coaching, but even more for the overall sense of community. Everyone is welcome to come and share the stoke with us; whether it is something you are thinking about trying for the first time or something you have loved for years.
Muizenberg is rated one of the safest beaches to learn to surf, the gentle gradient of the sand bank makes for fantastic soft rolling waves which give the learner surfer plenty of time to get their feet...

What's included in Private Surf Lesson
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Our private surf lessons can be scheduled at a time convenient to you. Your surf coach will remain with you for the duration of your private lesson, providing you with dedicated coaching at your own pace. Your lesson includes: - 1½ hours of surf coaching - Rental of surfboard and wetsuit - Use of our spacious club facilities (separate men’s and ladies change rooms, warm showers and lockers) What to bring: - your swimming costume; - towel; - sunscreen; - locker lock and dose of enthusiasm! What to expect during your first surf lesson: Your lesson will be tailored according to your own surfing skill level. Your coach will teach you the essentials of learning how to surf and equip you with the knowledge of how to ride your first wave. Your coach will also inform you about surfing etiquette, ocean awareness and safety. Intermediate and Advanced coaching is also available, please specify your skill level when booking: - First time; - beginner - unable to paddle into own waves - Intermediate - paddling into own waves - Advanced - comfortable catching own waves and needing to address specific technical skills/ elevate to next level. Please check in at reception desk 15-20mins ahead of your scheduled lesson start to allow time to change ahead of your lesson. In peak season (December - March) or on weekends we recommend you plan to arrive 30mins ahead of your scheduled lesson start to allow time to find parking and complete the check in process.
