The Debod temple (El Templo de Debod) was built in ancient Egypt, but now moved to the Spanish capital. The ancient building was a gift from Egypt to Spain in 1968 as a compensation for the assistance rendered by the Spaniards in saving the temples of Abu Simbel from flooding after the construction of the Aswan dam.

The Royal Botanical garden of Madrid (Spanish Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid). The original garden was established on 17 October 1755 by king Ferdinand VI.
