The Royal Palace of Morocco Dar el-Makhzen is a palace in the municipality of Méchouar Fez Jdid, in Fes, Morocco. Covering an area of 80 hectares, the site includes the royal palace, a mosque, a madrasah (founded by the Merinids in 1320) and a weapons square. Its facade on the Place des Alaouites consists of huge 7 copper doors, which were carved by a local craftsman around 1970.
Borj Sud is one of the most important urban monuments in Fes. It is one of the towers of the city of Fes, located in the middle of Morocco.
