Let us take you to the Scottish Castle that has been lived in by every King & Queen since Queen Victoria in 1856. You will be able to walk through the grounds and visit the State Room in the castle. Then we will visit Crathie Kirk which has been attended by the Royal Family since Victorian times. Finally onto Royal Lochnagar Distillery for a tour or tasting or both. The distillery, opened in 1845, is one mile from the castle and sits at the foot of the Cairngorm mountains.

Our outward journey will take you through the small town of Grantown on Spey. Grantown-on-Spey is a town in the Highland Council Area, historically within the county of Moray. It is located on a low plateau at Freuchie beside the river Spey at the northern edge of the Cairngorm mountains, about 20 miles south-east of Inverness
We will have a short toilet/coffee stop in the the village which lies close to the banks of the River Avon and is said by some to be the highest village in the Scottish Highlands
