Discover the breathtaking pieces of an architectural style that started to flourish towards the end of the 1900s, together with the insights of an art historian. In merely 20 years numerous masterpieces were constructed according to the various branches of the Secessionist Movement present in Europe. Viennese Secession, Jugendstil, French and Belgian Art Nouveau and for the first time, a real Hungarian “National Style” was also born. Among these beautiful edifices, we offer you the chance to explore Gresham Palace in and out, the Hungarian National Treasury, the Hungarian Academy of Music, various sites in the famous and historic Váci shopping street and much more gems too than you could ever find in a guidebook. Such a tour could begin at a previously arranged location, such as your hotel, or we recommend meeting at the former House of Hungarian Art Nouveau. A coffee break is also included in the tour at a marvellous Art Nouveau landmark.
