Exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii, frozen in time by the devastating volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, offers a unique glimpse into life in ancient Roman civilization. Our tour begins at the archaeological site of Pompeii, where we'll walk through the once-thriving city's remarkably preserved streets, buildings, and homes. We'll see the plaster casts of the victims, who were caught unaware by the pyroclastic flow, and get insight into the daily lives of the people who lived here. Afterwards, we'll head to the National Archaeological Museum in Naples, home to an impressive collection of artefacts rescued from the ruins, including intricate mosaics, frescoes, and even the famous cast of a young boy buried under the rubble. With our expert guide, we'll uncover the secrets of Pompeii and the culture of the people who called it home over 2,000 years ago.
