Our experience will be unlike anything you have experienced before, as thousands of travelers head each day to Vinicunca facing long queues and crowds, you will be taken to Palcoyo, a hidden treasure where you can contemplate mountains of colors as spectacular but in complete tranquility.
During the four hour walk you will discover not only the geological formations of the Stone Forest, but also the imposing Canyon of Ananiso with views that will leave you speechless towards the snowy Ausangate. What excites me most is being able to share lunch with you in the community of Ananiso, where local families welcome you as part of their home, away from any tourist artifice.
If the conditions accompany you, you will have the opportunity to see cave paintings that very few visitors have had the privilege of observing.

The main gem of the tour, a less crowded alternative to Vinicunca with stunning colorful mountain landscapes in shades of red, ochre and violet. Part of the Rainbow Range that offers spectacular views without the crowds.
A fascinating geological site with impressive rock formations that serves as the first stop before the main walk. A unique landscape that looks like another planet.
First you will visit the community of Ananiso, an authentic cultural experience where you will have lunch in the middle of nature surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, getting to know traditional Andean life. Then we will see Ananiso Canyon, a million-year-old geological wonder that you will explore in the afternoon, offering unique rock formations and dramatic views. After visiting this canyon and the village, the guide will assess whether the weather and weather conditions allow him to visit the archaeological site, showing ancient art on the canyon rocks.

Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
Free pick-up from hotels in the historic center of Cusco. For hotels outside the center, we will coordinate nearby meeting point or otherwise at your hotel if it is en route to our expedition. We start pickups depending on the number of passengers and the meeting points of each passenger to arrive early and avoid crowds in Palcoyo.
