Niagara Falls, fireworks, ghosts and awesome guides! Explore the natural and super-natural heritage of Niagara Falls USA during this engaging 90 minute walking tour. The tour starts on the entrance to Niagara Falls State Park and brings guests to beautiful vistas that are often unknown to tourists. As we explore the stunning and powerful nature of Niagara, guests will discover the stories of native legends and spirits that are believed to haunt the area. Guides bring to life the natural history and death defying tales of daredevils who challenged Niagara in barrels, boats & balls. Some lived and some died...but all were drawn here to tempt fate for a shot at fortune and fame. The tour culminates in an inspiring fireworks display seen over Niagara Falls. When the fireworks display is complete, you may explore Goat Island on your own or walk back to the starting point with your guide. Tour is 1.25 miles to the fireworks viewing point, .5 miles walking to return to our starting point.
A majority of our walking tour occurs on Goat Island, the Island that is between the main state park and the Horseshoe Falls.
Most of the tour explores the beauty and history of Niagara Falls State Park. We begin walking through the mainland portion of the park, naakin gour way to the awesome and tumultuous upper rapids. Beautiful views are seen as we use the pedestrian bridge to cross over the ragin gupper rapids, making our way across to Bath Island, eventually coming to Goat Island where we'll spend most of our tour time.
