This tour involves a considerable amount of walking and stairs. Please make sure you are fit enough to participate
Please note that this option does not include a tour of Ellis Island or entry to the Immigration Museum at Ellis Island.
During most of the tour, expect to be standing, with some stairs involved. The ferry ride has limited seating, and upon reaching Liberty Island, your guide will lead a walking tour to highlight various sights
The guided segment of the tour lasts approximately 2 hours. After the tour concludes at Liberty Island, you're free to stay as long as you wish before returning to Battery Park. The total duration is typically around 3 hours, but if you intend to explore Ellis Island independently, please allocate an additional hour
Your ferry ticket includes access to both islands, although for afternoon tours, there may not be enough time to visit Ellis Island.
Persons and property are subject to search. Prohibited items include weapons, locking blades, tools, non-folding umbrellas, tripods, laptops, tablet keyboards, coolers, luggage, drones, sewing kits, lighter fluid, and anything propelled by aerosol.
