Then, we go to Brasov's Old Town, a medieval marvel steeped in history. Here we will unravel the enigmatic tale of Vlad the Impaler, the infamous ruler whose brutal reign inspired Bram Stoker's iconic novel.

The former residence of the Royal Family, Peles castle is one of the most beautiful castles in the world. On every Monday and, from the 17th of September to the 13th of May, every Tuesday also, we will only see the outside of the castle and visit the palace gardens. We will go see Sinaia monastery instead, the smaller replica of St. Catherine's monastery on Mount Sinai, built in the year 1690.
(In)famous for the Dracula connection, Bran is a former defense fortress turned into the Royal summer residence at the beginning of the 20th century. Build atop a cliff, its imposing presence is impossible to miss and not admire.
