In the heart of the holiday region “Heidiland” after Johanna Spyri’s world-famous Heidi story, tour one of the larger lakes in the Riviera of Eastern Switzerland.
We’ll start the boat tour in Weesen, in the western part of the lake and then make our way to Betlis where we’ll try and catch a glimpse of the impressive, up to 700m tall, Seerenbach waterfall.
Around noon we’ll continue our eastward journey and go ashore in the tiny village of Quinten, top spot on this lake. For lunch we warmly recommend the Seehus restaurant and cook Carlo well known for his traditional cuisine.
Back on-board stop and anchor anywhere you like so you can jump off the boat to swim or tan or just relax.
If you are interested, you can experiment steering the boat, both at low and high speeds and learn about boatmanship.

Largely unknown by the crowds and running from East to West this lake is characterized by its unique fjordlike, Norwegian lookalike landscape with very steep if not vertical slopes in the North (Churfirsten mountain, 2400 meters).
The Seerenbach waterfall. Slightly inland, near Betlis chapel the waterfall consists of 3 different stages or cascades, the largest over 300 meters tall. It is possible to hike for 20 minutes to approach the fall even closer.
