Discover Kyoto's traditional culture with the Kimono/Yukata(summer kimono) experience! Gion is such a great traditional Japanese vibe. You can enjoy Japanese culture more by wearing a kimono or yukata at a tea ceremony & festival!
We offer a wide selection of kimonos, ranging from traditional patterns to modern designs, with experienced staff to assist you with dressing. The package includes the kimono itself, sash belt (obi), Japanese clutch, sandals, and socks. Don't worry, hairstyling is available at an additional cost. If it's not too busy, the dressing process can take less than an hour, and you can set off on your adventure.

What's included in Kyoto Gion: Japanese traditional experience at WARGO
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Enjoy exploring the streets of Kyoto while dressed in a kimono. First, visit the store in Kyoto (Either the Gion store or Kyoto Tower store) and choose a kimono you'd like to wear. Once you've decided on the kimono, our staff will assist you with getting dressed. Once you're ready, step outside and enjoy adventuring through the wonderful streets of Kyoto in your kimono!
Feel free take beautiful photos and immerse yourself in Japanese culture. You can return the kimono anytime, as long as it is before 5:30pm! You can also enjoy the fantastic night view of Gion with the next day return option.
[What is the Wargo Deluxe Plan?] This plan gives you the flexibility to choose from additional options: Upgrading the grade of the kimono and obi (Japanese belt) is also possible up to a certain level. Additionally, a standard hairstyle is included (only for women). Please note that the available choices of kimono grades may vary by store, so please check with the store for specific options.
