Kyoto Afternoon and Night Tour with Japanese Traditional Dinner
This course combines the Kyoto Afternoon Tour, which visits some of Kyoto's distinct shrines and temples including World Heritage Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and the Kyoto Night Tour, which offers customers the opportunity to experience Japan’s traditional culture. This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter. *The tour consists of a bus tour (Kyoto Afternoon Tour) until entry to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and a walking tour (Kyoto Night Tour) afterwards.

Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine

Sanjusangendo Temple
Visit the world's longest wooden structure, housing 1,001 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple
The view of Kyoto from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu-dera is superb. The historic shopping lane that leads to the temple adds to a wonderful experience.

- The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
- Participants will walk from the parking lot to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (about 15 min one-way).
- Seats may not be designated.
- Transfer from Kiyomizu-dera Temple to Gion Corner may be on foot (approx. 25 min) depending on road traffic conditions or other reasons. This part of the tour may be accompanied by an assistant, not a guide.
- Regarding Progmars at Gion Corner, Regular Performance (Mar. 15 - Nov. 30): Watch a traditional Kyoto dance, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, koto music, bugaku (court dance and music), kyogen (traditional Japanese comic theater), and bunraku (Japanese puppet theatre) or a noh play (either bunraku or noh depending on the season). Winter Performance (Dec. 1 - Mar. 14): Watch a traditional Kyoto dance, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, koto music, bugaku (court dance and music), and kyogen (traditional Japanese comic theater). Customers can take a commemorative photo with the maiko. *Please note that the content is subject to change.
- Buddhist vegetarian cuisine is served for dinner, so we welcome vegetarian participants. However, bonito stock is used in the tempura dipping sauce. Salt can be used instead of the tempura dipping sauce. The ingredients of tempura are tofu, namafu wheat gluten, yuba tofu skin, and vegetables in season, such as eggplants, lotus root, ginger, and shiitake mushrooms. Miso soup and rice are also served. *Requests for Muslim-friendly meals, Indian thali meals, and allergy-friendly meals are not accepted.
- Children under 7 years of age (0-6 years old) may not participate.
- Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.
- Tour's total duration is 7 hours 40 minutes, although the total duration listed in the itinerary is 5 hours. The remaining hours are allotted for travel time.

- After dinner, the tour ends at the location. Gion Yoshi-Ima is situated in a convenient location in central Gion district, making it ideal for an evening stroll around Gion after dinner.
