Meet your guide at Shinjuku and take the popular Enoden train along the Pacific coast! On arrival in Kamakura, you will visit the Hase-dera Temple, where you will explore its beautiful garden, caves, Buddhist halls and a panoramic terrace overlooking the bay.
You will then proceed to the city's landmark, the Great Buddha of Kotoku-in Temple: you will be left speechless in front of this majestic statue and all its details!
Finally, you will walk along the lively Komachi Street to the city's main shrine, Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu, where the deity of war is enshrined: here you will understand the importance of the samurai government in Kamakura's history.
The tour ends at this shrine and you are free to spend the afternoon exploring Kamakura and Enoshima, or to choose one of the options.
