The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
The Egyptian Museum, also known as the Museum of Cairo, is situated in Cairo, Egypt. It holds a vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, with 120,000 items in total. While a significant number are on display, many are kept in storerooms. The museum building, constructed in 1901 by the Italian firm Garozzo-Zaffarani, ranks among the largest in the region.
