Hiroshima is perhaps most well-known for being the site where the atomic bomb was dropped on August 6th, 1945. Since the end of the war, much effort was put into rebuilding the city, while still preserving some of the survived buildings, like the Atomic Bomb Dome, to memorize the past.
This tour will walk around Hiroshima to view the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Park Memorial and Museum. Personal space and time will be given for reflection during the visit. After that, you will visit Miyajima Island, where you’ll spend a lighter afternoon amongst the deers and Miyajima’s famous red torii gate.
Please note this tour will be using public transportation. The guide will only be meeting you up at the designated accommodation.
