Option 1: Montmartre Start with a fun ride up the Montmartre funicular, taking in stunning views over Paris. At the top, explore the Sacré-Cœur, then wander through the artsy streets around Place du Tertre, pass the Maison Rose, the Dalida statue, and her former home. We’ll stop at the historic Bateau-Lavoir, birthplace of Cubism, then relax in a classic Montmartre café with a macaron and a glass of wine or soft drink. The tour ends outside the Moulin Rouge, where you’ll hear lively stories of cabaret, cancan dancers, and the wild Belle Époque nights.
We begin near Filles du Calvaire, stepping into the heart of Le Marais, one of Paris’s oldest neighborhoods. Discover the flavors of the Marché des Enfants Rouges, then stroll through elegant courtyards at the Archives Nationales and secret gardens. We’ll explore the Jewish Quarter, stop for tea or coffee in a charming 19th-century salon de thé, and visit the medieval Hôtel de Sens. As we wander through Saint-Paul Village, see the beautiful Saint-Paul Saint-Louis church, and end in the elegant Place des Vosges, once home to Victor Hugo.
Option 3: Latin Quarter-Saint Germain We’ll start in a hidden corner of Paris at the Grande Mosquée, the first in the city, with peaceful Moroccan-style gardens. Then stroll through the Jardin des Plantes, explore the Roman Arènes de Lutèce, and pass by a charming square featured in Emily in Paris. We’ll see the Panthéon, then prepare a small picnic together to enjoy in the lovely Luxembourg Gardens. After a visit to Saint-Sulpice and a stroll through Saint-Germain, we’ll end at the Pont des Arts, the famous lovers’ bridge, with a stunning view of the Louvre and the Seine.
