Experience two unique wineries, a Maori cultural site and stunning sightseeing up Te Mata Peak. Beginning on the coast, you will gain an appreciation for Maori knowledge (Matauranga Maori) at the Atea a rangi Celestial Compass. From there, you'll enjoy a wine-tasting and a shared cheese board platter at Clearview Winery (with a short tour if the winery is available). We'll journey through the magnificent Tukituki Valley with a tuscan like feel. Complete with photo stop. We then visit our second winery, the iconic Te Mata Estate, NZ's second oldest winery. We then journey up to the top of Te Mata Peak learning about the unique culture, geology, botany and history of the region. . All the while you will be guided by local experts.

Pick up is available from Napier, Hastings and Havelock North. Tour begins at 1pm however can be adjusted

Experience an incredibly unique Maori Cultural site. Situated on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this celestial compass is used to mark the seasons and teach navigation skills for ocean-bound journeys. Featuring intricately carved Po (posts) that themselves tell the stories of the stars. This site carries with it stories as old as civilisation itself.

Clearview Estate Winery

Bask in the salty sea air of the Te Awanga coast at one of New Zealand's most-awarded wineries. Enjoy a wine tasting and cheese platter under the olive trees followed by a tour of the winery hosted by the winemaker himself (Tour subject to his availability).
