The Alhambra is a city of about 260,000 square meters and the Generalife, which is the neighboring estate, of about 400,000. The entrance of visitors is regulated by schedules in a maximum of 300 people every half hour. The visit is 95% outdoors and can be considered more of a hiking visit than a museum visit, since it is 3 hours in continuous movement and comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended.
