Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of urban and modern architecture in Tokyo's Harajuku and Omotesando neighborhoods. Harajuku and Omotesando area had experienced a number of dramatic changes by the rapid westernization after the feudal period and by the rapid economic growth after World War II. Late 1970s, many creative designers and architects, such as Andoh Tadao, Kengo Kuma, Herzog & de Meuron and more built unique and inspiring buildings for luxury brand boutiques in Omotesando area. The guide will explain the attractiveness of this unique city formation. In a small group of no more than five people, get a glimpse into the Japanese lifestyle from a local point of view while deepening your understanding of the historical and cultural contexts. Of course, you will have a chance to grab some sweets and take a rest at a cafe in Omotesando. This private tour allows you to customize where you visit and take a rest.
