My family was a pioneer in the technique of torch-blowing (working with light) and I bring with me over 20 years of experience, gained in the workshop and refined through personal research . In this 1.5 hour - 2 hour interactive workshop, you will have the rare opportunity to see my personal technique up close and try out how to manipulate glowing glass first-hand. I will guide you step by step in handling living matter, showing you how to turn a glass wire into an object, through gesture, precision and creativity. You will be able to blow, shape and play with glass in a safe and stimulating environment where each step of the process will be explained and shared. It’s not just a demonstration: it’s an immersive and participatory experience, which will allow you to really get in touch with the soul of Murano glass.
