From Krakow: Dunajec River Rafting and Pieniny National Park
Experience a fantastic day outdoors in the Pieniny National Park! Sail through the breathtaking Dunajec Gorge and visit the romantic ruins of the castle in Czorsztyn!
First, we will go by private car from Krakow to the Czorsztyn Castle (approx. 2 hours' drive). In Czorsztyn you will learn about the rich history of the region and the beginnings of tourism in the Pieniny Mountains, including: rafting on the Dunajec River.
Then we will drive by car to the starting point of the traditional rafting trip (approx. 15 minutes). The rafting itself lasts about 2 hours and offers beautiful views of the Dunajec Gorge, a true wonder of nature.
The adventure ends in Szczawnica, a famous spa resort, from where we provide return transport to the starting point of the rafting trip, for a short lunch at the Trzy Korony mountain hut, where you will be able to try local specialties of Polish cuisine.
Finally, we travel back to Krakow by private car (approx 2 hrs of driving back).

Czorsztyn Castle
We will visit romantic ruins of Czorsztyn Castle. It offers spectacular views of Czorsztyński Lake and Tatra Mountains. One of exhibitions allows us to deep dive into a history of traditional rafting on Dunajec River and the beginning of tourism in Pieniny Mountains.
Traditional rafting on the Dunajec River is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Pieniny Mountains. We will raft through the Dunajec Gorge, admiring the wonderful nature and listening to the stories told by rafters.
We will visit this atmospheric mountain hut for lunch after the rafting. It offers Polish cuisine specialties, such as delicious soups and pierogi (dumplings).
