The tour starts at the Forest Lagoon. Then we will head in to Eyjafjordur on a old track then to the enchanting Kjarnaskógur forest. There we will enjoy the forest and the adventurous tracks that the forest has to offer.
Next we will head to Akureyri and pedal through the historic streets of down town. Immerse yourself in the rich stories of the old town as our knowledgeable guide leads the way.
Before heading off we will go over some safety rules and how to operate the e-bikes. It is partly an off road trip with some hills and tracks, but do not worry because with the e-bikes you can choose the difficult level.

South of Akureyri is one of the towns most popular outdoor area - the woodland Kjarnaskógur. The recreational area is approx 800 hectars with more than 1.5 million trees, of many species planted within the last 50 years.
The old town of Akureyri brings you back to the beginning of the town. The area is located just a short stroll from town centre, towards the south. The area is a monument to the town‘s history and culture. Many of the town oldest houses have been preserved and the original street planning has been maintained. Informative signposts guide visitors about the history of a different era. On this walk, you see the old Theatre, the old Primary School and the Old Hospital built in 1827, the first two-storied house built in Iceland and the oldest building in Akureyri, Laxdalshús, built in 1795.

Hof is the cultural house, a big rounded house downtown Akureyri, near the harbor. At some points customer can use the Forest Lagoon bus that is going from Hof to Skógarböð every hour from 10-18 o'clock. Customers can also take taxi to Forest Lagoon, it is only 10 min away from the centre.
