We are delighted to inform your good selves that Entopia will be opened daily effective 18 December 2024. Our visiting hours will remain unchanged from 9AM till 6PM, with last entry/ticket purchase at 5PM.
— What You Can Expect —
Head to Entopia, a nature learning destination in Penang. Learn about its natural habitat that brings the worlds of butterflies and plants together. Entopia is divided into two distinct areas — Natureland is filled with around 15,000 free-flying butterflies and is one of the largest butterfly gardens in Malaysia, while The Cocoon is an indoor discovery center with an educational exhibition and engaging indoor activities.
On your visit, don't miss out on the free daily activities in Entopia, including the butterfly release session in which newly-emerged butterflies take their first flight and surround you. Book your tickets today to Penang's top natural and garden attraction!

- Scan your e-ticket/voucher QR code(s) at the Entopia admission turnstile directly to enter
- Each ticket holder must present proof of identity and age upon entry to the park at the admission turnstile. Entopia reserves the right to reject entries if visitors are not able to present the required ID; or attempt to enter the park using wrong tickets. The price differences shall be chargeable should they wish to enter the park and no refund is allowed
- On the eve of Chinese New Year (21 Jan 2023), the visiting hours of Entopia will be from 9:00AM to 1:00PM only, with the last admission at 12:00 NOON. Visiting hours will resume as normal from 22 Jan 2023 onwards.
- Entopia will be open to public on 25 Jan 2023, which falls on our weekly closure day
- There will be a Lion Dance performance on 23 Jan 2023 at 2:30 pm
