Doi Inthanon is Thailand’s highest mountain at 2,565 meters above sea level. Complex mountain ranges and mild climate characterise an area with moist and dense forest which is the source of important tributaries of Mae Ping River. Various streams descend, forming beautiful waterfalls ; Mae Klang, Mae Ya. On the way back, a stop will be made at Karen village.

07:00 AM - 07:30 AM: Begin your journey with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai. You'll be comfortably transported in an air-conditioned vehicle, embarking on a scenic drive to the southern reaches of Chiang Mai.
10:45 AM: Arrive at Inthanon Mountain, often referred to as 'The Roof of Thailand.' At an elevation of 8,415 feet (2,565 meters) above sea level, you'll pay homage to the previous king of Chiang Mai, whose remains are enshrined here. Venture onto the Angka Luang Natural trail, leading to a mesmerizing lookout point. From this vantage, you'll admire the forest from a unique perspective, with its lush cover of lichens and wild orchids. Keep an eye out for sightings of rare bird species along the trail.
11:45 AM - A stop at the Twins Pagodas is next on the itinerary. These remarkable pagodas, Phra Maha Dhatu Nabha Metaneedol and Nabhapol Bhumisiri, were constructed in honor of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit to celebrate their fifth-cycle birthdays. Each pagoda also houses precious Buddha relics from Sri Lanka.
