I will pick you up from your riad hotel in Marrakech, and we will head south towards the Moulay Brahim gorges. In about 1h30 we will arrive at the village of Asni to visit a weekly market (Tuesday and Saturday)
We will continue to the village of Imlil (1.740m), located in the upper foothills of the western High Atlas mountains. Here we will leave our vehicle to enjoy a welcome glass of mint tea. After your tea, our hike begins! We will walk south to the Berber village of Aroumd (1.843m) passing the hamlets. You will see Mount Toubkal, which is the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa. The views will be amazing and I will tell you all about the Berber way of life.
The journey continues until we reach the village of Ait-Souka for lunch in the house of a Berber family. After lunch you will be taken back to Marrakech to arrive at 4:30 PM.
