Pay a visit to one of the most iconic and lush cloud forests surrounding Bogotá with an expert bird guide that will help you identify up to 40 bird species including colorful tanagers, hummingbirds, warblers, flycatchers and toucanets.
Your bird watching expert guide will help you learn to identify and distinguish between the different species while observing hummingbird feeders. Then go walking along nature trails deep within the forest with binoculars in hand to observe the fast moving birds up in the canopy (binoculars available for rent).

What's included in Chicaque Cloud Forest Birding & Birdwatching
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Description: Pay a visit to one of the most iconic and lush cloud forests around Bogotá with an expert bird guide that will help you identify about 50 bird species including colorful tanagers, hummingbirds, warblers, flycatchers, raptors and toucanets. Difficulty: The terrain is made of stone pathways that can be slippery when wet and often involve steep inclines. Duration: The total tour time is 8 hours from start to finish with 4 hours of birdwatching time. Additional hours can be added at an extra cost. We also offer overnight itineraries. Location: 2 hours south-west of our meeting point. Elevation: It ranges from 2400 to 2700 m.a.s.l. Weather: Temperatures range between 10ºC and 15ºC. About 30% of the time we experience light rain and about 10% of the time we see heavy rain. Please note that this is a group activity and you MAY or MAY NOT be joined by other travelers at any point during the tour.

Please arrive at the pick up point 15 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
If your location is not listed, please contact customer service. We can wait a maximum of 15 minutes pass the schedule pick-up time. Drop-off is at the same location. Late arrivals and no shows forfeit their payment.
